INTRODUCTION AND HISTORY OF THE ASSOCIATION
The AAVA – Association of Travel Agencies of Angola was created by a group of national agencies that felt the need to jointly defend the rights and interests of their members and thus develop their activity.
The AAVA is a professional, non-profit, professional organization with a national scope.
It was officially founded in 2016 by public deed at the 1st Notary Office of Luanda.

VISION
Provide collaboration between travel agencies and strategic partners in the Tourism sector from the perspective of sustainability and the progress of its associates

MISSION
Representing Angolan Travel agencies, thus becoming the intermediary and spokesperson of the sector before the State and national and international organizations in the sector, contributing to the strengthening and economic and technical development of its members as well as the tourism sector in Angola

VALUES
AAVA assumes itself as an apolitical, secular and multiracial association. Promotes respect for order, completeness and legality

ASSOCIATES
The AAVA is made up of an unlimited number of members classified in four categories: Effective, Allies, Honorary and Meritorious.

It is the duty of the member to exercise in the bodies of the AAVA the functions for which he was elected. Members contribute to the Association’s budget through the fee paid at the time of their admission and through the contribution.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE ASSOCIATION

The AAVA’s bodies are the General Assembly, the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board and their holders are elected for a term of two calendar years.

The General Meeting is directed by the respective Board of the General Meeting, which is composed of:

  • Vice President/Secretary: TravelGest

The General Directorate is the executive body responsible for the administration and management of the Association, being composed of the following members

  • President: Realvitur Angola
  • Vice President: Alive Travel
  • Secretary-Treasurer: Charme Tours Agência de Viagens

The Fiscal Council is the body that supervises and issues opinions on the financial aspects of the AAVA and is made up of

  • President: Atlântida Viagens
  • Secretary: Atlas Viagens
  • Rapporteur: Ambassador Voyage, Agência de Viagens e Turismo
